Job Title: Night Shift (PM) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Summary:
The Night Shift LPN provides direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical monitoring. This role ensures continuity of care overnight, responds to changes in condition, and supports CNAs while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to appropriate personnel
Perform routine nursing assessments and document findings
Supervise and support CNAs in providing resident care
Respond to call lights and emergency situations promptly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as needed
Follow physician orders and care plans
Prepare reports for shift handoff

Qualifications:

Current LPN license in the state of Arkansas
Previous long-term care experience preferred
Strong clinical and assessment skills
Ability to work independently during overnight hours

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility (up to 50 lbs with assistance)
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations

Work Schedule:

Full-time or part-time night shift (PM/overnight hours)
Includes weekends and holidays as needed
